Known for its glitz and glamour, Dubai attracts tourists like a magnet with its glitz and glamour. The best time to visit Dubai is during the winter months, between the months of November and April. It doesn’t matter if it is the malls, the Burj Khalifa, the state-of-the-art venues, the abundance of activities, adventures, and experiences, or the overall entertainment. Dubai in Summer (June – August)

During the summer months, the air temperature fluctuates between 33°C and 42°C.

During the summer months, Dubai is flooded with sunlight. The city is flooded with waves of shimmering heat throughout the day for 12 hours. Temperatures can soar as high as the early forties, and sometimes even reach the fifties. These months continue to be characterized by high humidity and high temperatures. During sandstorms, it can be difficult to move around the city.

Prior To Your Visit, You Should Know

Despite the summer heat, Dubai’s nightlife remains as vibrant as ever. During the summer, malls are the best place to enjoy a day of retail therapy. You should also avoid planning any activities outside during the sandstorm season unless it is necessary.

Dubai in Winter (November-March)

During the winter season, the air temperature ranges between 17°C and 30°C.

As the year cools off, the city benefits from a welcome relief. By November, the temperature has cooled to a comfortable 25°C. It remains chilly in the evenings through November and December as the temperature steadily drops into the early twenties. The sun peeks out in January, but the humidity remains low and the temperature can drop to 15°C. While Dubai continues to enjoy a pleasant weather streak in February, the heat starts to increase. As part of the season, mild rainfall and rare thunderstorms are also expected for around three to four days – but nothing that will impede your movement or any planned events. It is the best time to visit Dubai in this climate.

During the Dubai Shopping Festival, there are brands from all over the world. It lasts throughout the month from December 31 to February 1. Everything from clothing to electronics to accessories to perfumes to home décor is available for a jaw-dropping price. Furthermore, there will be food festivals, fireworks, and fashion shows, so you won’t know what to look for or what to buy! Make sure you start saving – this is one shopping trip you will never forget.

Dubai in April-May / September-October (Transition Months)

April-May and September-October are transitional months with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 38°C (April-May) and 26°C to 38°C (September-October).

Winter’s pleasant weather slowly gives way to summer’s scorching heat in April-May. With the arrival of May, the summer sun is officially here, with temperatures spiking as high as 37°C. There are no clouds in the skies and the sun is unrelenting for almost 11 hours during the day.

The summer heat begins to drop during September as the days become shorter and the nights get colder. Even though the average temperature is still on the higher side, the evening temperatures are significantly lower. As October approaches, Dubai’s temperatures drop by an additional 5 degrees, preparing the city for the upcoming winter season.

Prior To Your Visit, You Should Know

Be cautious during April and May and plan activities indoors as much as possible. There isn’t as much heat as in the summer, but it’s still imperative not to get heatstroke
