Even better if there are some Irish jigs playing in the background.

McCafferty’s, Circle Mall

Genuine Irish pubbery in JVC may seem a little out of the ordinary initially, but trust us when we say it works. It is one of the best pubs in Dubai. Its rustic surroundings are reminiscent of an Old Irish Tavern with ancient relics, Gaelic paintings, and plenty of dark corners great for enjoying perfectly-poured pints, drawing customers with its everyday live music, generous happy hours, and hearty pub classics. There are both Irish and foreign ales available on tap, which you can sip indoors or outside in the bar garden. Their timings might get changed, it is advised to check before visiting.

The Irish Village, Garhoud

The Irish Village’s original Garhoud location is iconic in every way. A pillar of the city’s nightlife, it once won the Irish Pubs Global award for greatest Irish pub in the world, which is truly saying something. Bands on tour from their home country choose to perform here while they are in town since it is a proper inviting bar inside and has a sizable beer garden outside (who could forget Boyzone’s Farewell Tour back in 2019?). What else could you possibly wish for?

Not only that, but it’s also a great place to grab some breakfast, which is available all day. If you want to accompany your drinks with some eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, black pudding, beans, tomatoes, toast, or fried bread, this is the place for you.

Regular live music performances by Irish artists like Fearghal O’Neill & Leanna Kerry, a full schedule of live sporting events, and everyday happy hour from 3 to 10 p.m. are also to be expected.
